This document explains the flow of events withing the filtering of DansGuardian.

Detailed procedure of how to configure multiple copies of DG. Written by Jack R. Anderson. (Most of the functionality is included in the latest DG - Wed 13th August 2003)

DansGuardian too complicated to install and/or configure? Try this easy to use commercial version which is backed by a Global Reseller Network. Principally written by the DansGuardian author and produced by SmoothWall Ltd. This is the only 'official' and endorsed 3rd party version of DansGuardian.

Content Filtering HOWTOs

There are several HOWTOs which feature DansGuardian as part of their filtering solution. Here they are:

• Safe and Clean Web Surfing by Jojo Nicdao. This covers the general requirements and methods of filtering.
• Stephen Winnett has written a good HOWTO that walks you through an entire install of RedHat6.2 and DansGuardian. Available in the original Word format, PDF and HTML.

• DansGuardian installation and iptables article by Fr. Visminlu Vicente L. Chua, S.J.. It covers installation from source and iptables redirection thus avoiding reconfiguration all the client machines.
